Chris Andrews began his writing career when he boldly and ignorantly announced he could write a better novel than the one he’d just read.
In pursuit of that dream he gained university qualifications, joined the ACT Writers Centre and the CSFG, wrote and published various short stories, and edited the CSFG’s second short story collection, Machinations: An Anthology Of Ingenious Designs.
The first novel he wrote, Transcendence of Power: Quarry, was shortlisted in the QWC/Hachette manuscript development program in 2010 and the HarperCollins Varuna manuscript development program in 2011. It is currently under offer by an Australian publisher.
Chris currently runs Creative Manuscript Services, and is running several workshops in the near future:
